With my art, I aim to portray glimpses of the beauty and enchantment that exists in the world around us.  As you can see from my portfolio I am drawn especially to painting animals.  I like to emphasize their unique beauty, spirit or soul and sometimes show the connections between them and us in our shared world.

So in essence I want to shine a light on the magic of our beautiful world.  And in doing that, I deeply hope that we will always strive to maintain our environment and its wonder for all of the living things that inhabit it.

I work mainly with Pastels but have also delved into the wonder of watercolours, inks and free flow acrylics.  As an ever-learning artist, trying out new mediums and techniques becomes a exciting challenge. There is always something new to learn, new to try.
